ANCASTER JOINT CANNABIS FAQ
You’ve got lots of cannabis related questions now that a new cannabis store has opened up in Hamilton, this time in Ancaster.
Questions are good, and we have answers. So let’s get started.
What Kind of Cannabis Products Can I Buy In Your Store?
Ancaster Joint is proud to sell a variety of quality cannabis products (dried flower, oils, capsules, sprays, edibles and concentrates) and accessories (papers, bongs, pipes, vapes, rolling trays, lighters and more!).
As a family-run, local business, we are especially proud to offer a wide variety of cannabis products from Licensed Producers who grow and operate in our very own back yard! Check out our menu to see our current in-stock offerings.
How Much Can I Buy?
In adherence with government regulations, you may purchase up to 30 grams of dried cannabis flower, or the equivalent in capsules, oils, concentrates and edibles. Our phenomenal staff team can help you navigate the equivalency across a variety of our products – and there are no limits on purchases of accessories!
What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard.
Is The Store Accessible?
It is! Our Ancaster location has accessible parking with ramps, and our one-floor retail space has ample room to move around and seating for anyone who would prefer to sit down and order or chat with our staff team.
Can I Bring My Kids?
We know many of our customers juggle demands and schedules as parents, but under current regulations, anyone entering our store must be 19 years of age or older.
Can I Still Drive If I’ve Consumed Cannabis?
Driving under the psychoactive effects of THC is extremely dangerous – for you, and those on the road with you. Since everyone’s bodies absorb THC differently, there is no set amount of time after consuming cannabis that we can guarantee it’s safe to drive.
Even after the intoxicating effects of THC wear off, it’s still possible for it to remain in your system at a high enough level that you could test positive. For this reason, we recommend you refrain from driving for at least 6 hours after you’ve consumed cannabis with THC.
I’m New To Cannabis – Where Do I Begin?
Our store and staff create a welcoming space for ALL – from the “chronic” to the canna-curious, we’ve got products, events and conversational spaces for everyone. If you’re new to cannabis, we know that the information out there can be overwhelming.
We encourage you to pop into our store and connect with us! Whether you’d like to cozy up fire-side and chat one-on-one with one of our staff or just want a safe and private space to explore on your own, we respect and support your individual needs, goals and learning styles.
